Decanter Magazine Rates Mirabeau’s Two Rosés

Press Media Reviews

Decanter is one of the most popular wine magazines in the world and published in around 90 countries on a monthly basis. The magazine includes industry news, vintage guides and wine recommendations. Decanter also organizes the annual Decanter World Wine Awards (of which Mirabeau has been a previous medal winner). Here is how they described our two 2013 vintage rosés in a recent tasting of 55 of the best from Provence.

Mirabeau Pure 2013

Bashful colour but exuberant aromatics of spring flowers and the orange grove. Good acidity and structure. Enough weight for a good meal wine.

Mirabeau Classic 2013

Very lifted strawberry aromatics which follow through on the palate. A New World style which has an Old World herbal twist to the finish.

I became captivated with the world of wine whilst on a visit to the Barossa Valley during my gap year in Australia. I went on to join a London wine merchant and studied wine for several years before starting my own wine business at 24. I sold the business aged 30 and went into Telecoms for 15 years, during which time I began cooking up the plan to create Mirabeau.
