Mirabeau recognised by Guide Hubert

Stephen & Hubert

The Guide Hubert is a well recognised French restaurant and wine guide covering the South of France, from Allier to the Ile-de-France. Every year they review thousands of wines and Mirabeau was chosen as one of the top wines from the Cotes de Provence, with a score of 4.5 from a possible 5.

Here’s their tasting note: Pale fuchsia, very bright. Good nose with red fruits, mango, grapefruit and sugar candy.  Very fruity on the palate, charming and with good structure and really good balance. Try with barbecued scallops.

I became captivated with the world of wine whilst on a visit to the Barossa Valley during my gap year in Australia. I went on to join a London wine merchant and studied wine for several years before starting my own wine business at 24. I sold the business aged 30 and went into Telecoms for 15 years, during which time I began cooking up the plan to create Mirabeau.
