Amazingly versatile says Waitrose Weekend

Press Media Reviews

Mirabeau is brand new to the Waitrose portfolio and it is the first vintage from a brave British winemaker who has turned a life-long dream of winemaking into an aspirational reality! Mirabeau is a dry, vibrant juicy rosé and a perfect match with courgette fritters. But don’t limit this wine just to this dish – it’s amazingly versatile with food and I also love a cold glass of it as a thirst-quenching treat on its own.

I became captivated with the world of wine whilst on a visit to the Barossa Valley during my gap year in Australia. I went on to join a London wine merchant and studied wine for several years before starting my own wine business at 24. I sold the business aged 30 and went into Telecoms for 15 years, during which time I began cooking up the plan to create Mirabeau.
