Bake For Syria Cookbook launch

Blog Events

As strong supporters of the Cook For Syria charity – founded by Lily Vanilli, Gemma Bell, Serena Guen and Clerkenwell Boy – we were very happy to be collaborating  once again to celebrate the launch of their new cookbook, Bake For Syria, at Jamie Oliver HQ. The book is gorgeous and it is filled with delicious Syrian-inspired recipes.

“We hope that through the #CookForSYRIA campaign we will not only be able to raise much needed money for Unicef’s Children of Syria Fund, we will also increase awareness of the plight of children in the war-torn country. Through cooking, sharing recipes and the power of social media, we invite everyone to help make a difference and positive contribution towards this important initiative.” CLERKENWELL BOY

If you would like to support the charity and raise essential funds for the children of Syria, you can buy the book at your nearest Waterstones or on the website

The author: Sophie Bellard

We are Marie, Sophie and Alice (m., s. & a., or rather a., m. & s. on this picture!), three French sisters passionate about good food and beautiful landscapes. Although we now all work and study in different countries, the three of us are still very close and we speak to each other multiple times a day! Each of us has her own personality, and that is what makes us complementary. Sophie is the creative one: she creates, styles and shoot all the recipes for the blog. Marie, as the eldest, can be seen as the “conductor”: she makes sure everything is running smoothly and deadlines are met, and she’s the one with the indispensable computing skills. And Alice is the baby sister! Alice has a hidden talent for writing. And when she gets carried away, she can write pages about a simple walk or about one of Sophie’s delicious cakes.
