Daily Mail’s Knackered Mothers’ Wine Club

Press Media Reviews

This is what Helen had to say about Mirabeau in her “Knackered Mothers Wine Club” feature in the Daily Mail’s ‘Femail’ Magazine.
Rosé wine: Mirabeau Cotes de Provence Rosé 2012, £8.99 Waitrose.

Made by the curiously named Stephen Cronk, one of a growing Brit-Pack of winemakers to venture down this way, it is delicously light and fresh. Take a long sniff , you’ll get strawberries up your nose. Very moreish. Food pairings: Tomato salads or cherry tomato tart.

Helen McGinn: Love my three children, husband and wine. Spent best part of a decade travelling the globe sniffing out wines for a living as a wine buyer for a big supermarket. Then spent most of the next half-decade pregnant. Now run my own wine business. Want to share wine knowledge in the hope that other knackered mothers are interested in what's in my glass at the end of the day. Strictly no insipid wines allowed. Unless too tired to care.
