Maison Mirabeau appoints UK sales director

Maison Mirabeau has appointed Peter Edwards to the role of sales director for the UK and Ireland.

Taking on his new position with immediate effect, Edwards joins Mirabeau from Moet Hennessy UK where he worked for 18 years, most recently as manager of its on-trade client base.

In his new role at Mirabeau, Edwards will work across all channels in the UK market.

Edwards’ proven track record in sales and brand building placed him “perfectly” to help further establish Mirabeau’s position in the” hugely important UK Market”, said founder of Stephen Cronk.

“I’m really happy that we are able to attract such talent to Mirabeau, a relative newcomer in the world of wine brands, and delighted that Peter sees the potential for a quality Provence rosé brand with a unique and engaging approach to consumer marketing,” he said.

Founded in 2010, Mirabeau exports its range of rosé wines to more than 45 countries. In the UK they are available through Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Bibendum and Matthew Clark.
