On the 7th of October, Jeany Cronk attended the annual Ladies Lunch of the FutureDreams Charity (@futuredreamscharity), which is held at the renowned Savoy Hotel to raise vital funds for Future Dreams House.
This is a cause close to my heart, having lost my grandmother to the disease and knowing several close friends who have been through tough treatment.Jeany Cronk
Many thanks to Yulia Rorstrom (@yuliarorstrom) of Duck & Dry (@duckanddry) for the beautiful blow dry for Jeany for this important event. The amazing Gaby Roslin (@gabyroslin) moved everyone to laughter and tears, and it was a pleasure to meet Melissa Odabash (@melissaodabash) and Rosie Nixon (@rosiejnixon).
A delicious two course meal was curated by Future Dreams ambassador and best-selling author Melissa Hemsley (@melissa.hemsley), and served with our Forever Summer rosé. The organisers selected Mirabeau because we had a vegan, lower alcohol wine in our range.
The fundraiser also included a great performance by famed singer Jack Savoretti (@jacksavoretti), as well as brilliant guest speakers and luxurious auction prizes.
FUTURE DREAMS HOUSE
Future Dreams has confirmed planning approval to open Future Dreams House which will be national charity Breast Cancer Haven’s, flagship London breast cancer support centre, following the closure of their Fulham site in 2019. The House will be located on Birkenhead Street, within a minute’s walk from King’s Cross station.
FDH will be a centre where women, men and their families can receive free, personalised support to address the emotional and physical side-effects of a breast cancer diagnosis.
It will make Future Dreams founders Sylvie Henry and Danielle Leslie’s dreams of ensuring nobody should ever have to face this illness on their own a reality. Future Dreams has been working and fundraising tirelessly to fund this project for over 3 years. The charity anticipates FDH to open in the Spring of 2020.
