Mirabeau at The Big Feastival

Blog Events

A huge thanks to everyone who joined us at the fabulous music, food and drinks festival held at Alex James’ farm in the Cotswolds this last weekend (August bank holiday weekend). Saturday was everything we’d all hoped for, great weather and awesome vibes!

The weather gods on Friday and Sunday decided to have a little fun with us; throwing in strong winds and rain storms in between bouts of sunshine.

Love the family event, and seeing kiddies being carted around in decorated trolleys that lit up at night. They were entertained by Justin Fletcher, Dick & Dom, Andy and the Odd Socks, Paddington, Peppa Pig & George, The Gruffalo and lots of other fun activities. Adult kiddies also had a lot of fun – I got to ride a helterskelter for the first time and had never seen one in real life before this. Yippee!

Top chefs included Marco Pierre White, Raymond Blanc and Pierre Koffman who were joined by a host of other well known chefs such as Ashley Palmer-Watts, Mark Hix and Alex James, Matt Tebbutt, Andi Oliver, David Carter, Pip Lacey and many more. We were thrilled to welcome all kinds of wonderful people at our beach bar.

Musically we enjoyed the main acts of Basement Jaxx on Friday, Craig David Presents TS5 on Saturday and Paloma Faith on Sunday. Other artists included Clean Bandit, James Arthur, Tom Odell, Professor Green, Rak-Su, Sugarhill Gang & Furious Five, Peter Hook & The Light, Melanie C and many more.

Peter even managed to organise a few backstage passes and a meeting with the incredible Paloma Faith!

Mirabeau added to the fun festival activities by bringing our beach bar St Tropez vibes. The Mirabeau Team members were recognised from Taste of London, and a number of people took part in our 3L sandbox selfie competition. Along with our frosé popsicles, we also served our delicious Pure in both glass and carafe formats.

Thanks to Kitty and Dave for hosting our team, and not being phased by the very late nights.

It was an amazing team effort, come rain or shine, very long hours and loads of smiles. A dream team for sure! xx
