Perfect day for a wedding

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Chateau de Robenier which is situated a few kilometres from Cotignac. Now when we say attend, we really mean that we were there well before the bride, the groom and guests, more specifically to supply the wine and deliver some wine barrels for the decor in the garden.

It is an absolutely gorgeous location with a fantastic view of the vineyards and the valley beyond. It is the epitome of a typical French chateau surrounded by large, old oak trees and manicured lawn. The one hundred and fifty guests were seated facing the valley beyond and a red carpet seemed to stretch for two hundred metres. It must have been an incredible ceremony and the festivities must have been equally enjoyable … how often does the newly-married groom phone you on a Sunday with a request to bring more wine?

We would like to wish them all the best and were excited to be playing a small part in the festivities. These are the kind of moments that Mirabeau is made for…
